Encephalitis is plaguing in 31 provinces and cities in Viet Nam, having affected 325 people and killed 5 of them this year [2014], health authorities said.
The disease mainly affects children under the age of 15, yet hospitals also received some adults suffering encephalitis in the last months. There has been an increasing number of children with Japanese encephalitis.
